About Ask Proxy™
Ask Proxy is a personal AI assistant by text for adults who don't have time to learn AI, but need more support at home.
Proxy works entirely by text message in the U.S. and Canada and reaches out with small, actionable ways to stay ahead of home-life logistics before something becomes a last-minute scramble.
Proxy is sold as an individual subscription rather than a shared household account, allowing each account to be tailored to one person’s decision-making style, interests, routines, and way of communicating.
There is no app to download, prompts to learn, or agents to train. Setup takes about 20 minutes: users create a profile, optionally connect their calendars, and Proxy begins reaching out by text. Users can also text Proxy anytime they have a question.
Created by Christine Landis, the "CEO Parent" featured in The Wall Street Journal, Proxy turns thought into action quickly. As she told the media outlet, "the doing was handled, but the thinking was still all mine."
About Christine Landis
Christine Landis is a mom of two, a wife, and founder and CEO of Peacock Parent, Inc., a home management platform dedicated to helping people delegate at home and buy back time for joy.
Previously, Christine served as CEO of National-Cred-A-Chek, Inc., a financial technology company she helped grow from one product to seven before leading a successful eight-figure exit in 2018 at age 36. Even then, time was central to Christine’s thinking, driving her to streamline casino marker operations so her clients could save time and operate more efficiently.
Her shift from time poverty to time abundance, followed by becoming a mother, led her to explore how people value their time and question the norms of quietly investing in support at home. She founded Peacock Parent to normalize the benefits of delegating and outsourcing at home, but soon discovered that even with 'the doing' delegated, parents were still overwhelmed with the mental load.
That discovery led her to create Ask Proxy™ to help all adults, not just families, outsource ‘the thinking’ of home-life management so everyone can experience what it’s like to have a personal AI assistant proactively thinking ahead to protect their time and maximize their joy.
Ask Proxy is purposefully priced starting at $29 per month when billed annually, or about $1 a day, so more people can experience less time stress and decision fatigue.
Landis has kept Ask Proxy independent of venture capital, allowing her to offer unlimited text support at an accessible price. Christine believes that small, proactive shifts at home, paired with a CEO mindset that values time like money, can give more people more time for joy.
Christine speaks and writes about time as a currency, home management, emerging AI assistants, and the economics of time and money.
